Rene Marie Russo has been a model, actress as well as a film maker in the US. Rose Namajunas has been one of UFC's most prominent female athletes. Her career began with amateur fights, in which she competed for various regional events. Later on, she signed with Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). Due to her successes within and outside of the Octagon, Namajunas has become an everyday word ever since her joining the UFC. Namajunas, a Lithuanian-immigrant, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball throughout her childhood. Rose made her debut professionally at the age of 18 in the Invicta Fighting Championships, where she was able to win two matches by submission. Dana White was impressed and invited Rose to join UFC's strawweight division when she was 22, at the end of December in 2014. The career of Rose has been full of extremes, as well as lows, yet she is always in a position to emerge from the fight on top. Rose took on Carla Esparza in April 2015 in the Women's Strawweight Title. She won the fight via technical knockout in just 3 minutes in the initial round. It was the first ever time a woman competed to win a title in any major organization worldwide. Namajunas continued to have many other victories, including 2 victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
